Jiaozi: traditional Chinese Dish
Jiaozi dumplings are crescent in shape, with edges pleated. You can use either meat or vegetable filling in Jiaozi. Occasionally, people twist this recipe with winter melon or shrimp. Mix all the ingredients that are likely to be added in the fillings, water dough. Water dough is a little thicker than wrapper of the wonton. Mostly Jiaozi is boiled, but some people panfry these dumplings.

You can use round-shaped wrappers. You can even wonton wrappers of a square shape, but you have to cut than in an oval shape before using.
